Concert within the Year of Czech Music

Year that end with "four" is traditionally celebrated in the context of Czech music on all continents. And the 2014th year is the Year of Czech Music in time when the nearly 50 different anniversaries, births and deaths of important Czech composers and musicians are being celebrated all over the world. 

This year’s theme for the Year of the Czech music is “Creativity and collaboration”, and one of the main objectives is to promote the Czech music, primarily classical and modern music in the world. Bjelovarsko-bilogorska County is involved in this project due to the fact that this is county where the most members of the Czech national minority lives, and it also has a long standing cooperation with Czech Republic.

Concert by students and teachers of the Music School Bruno Bjelinski Daruvar will be held on 19th May, starting at 19:00 hours in the castle of Count Janković Daruvar.
